Click on the image, so you can actually see where I am...So, after all the anticipation, job hunting, funding scavenging, apartment searching, I've finally made it to DC! A little background on what's up.
What: Haas Center for Public Service summer fellowship...ironically, it was the one my friend was supposed to have, but she opted for something slightly bigger and better!
Where: Environmental Protection Agency Smart Growth office! I don't care to explain (and I still don't know what I'm doing) so here: http://www.epa.gov/smartgrowth/
When: Until the last day in August! I'm subletting an apartment in Adam's Morgan (minutes from the zoo!!!) and will be sharing with two Stanford alumni 2004 and one other random guy.
I spent the first two days in Baltimore, with Cheryl, doing nothing productive and just chilling. Very fun. Now, I am moved into my temporary lodging (picture to come soon...when I am less lazy), which is a lovely little flat right across the street from Meridian Hill Park! OMG! I'm now a member of the JCC, I've already visited the local Whole Foods, and I've experienced my first DC thunderstorm! Life is Good!
